At Purpose Movement, we are dedicated to supporting foster children in Arizona by offering them opportunities to feel valued, loved, and celebrated. Through community-driven events like shopping sprees, holiday celebrations, and prom nights, we provide these children with experiences that help build their confidence and create lasting memories.   • Back-to-School Shoe Shopping

    NEW SHOES, NEW OPPORTUNITIES. HELP US SEND KIDS BACK TO SCHOOL WITH CONFIDENCE.

    Each year, Purpose Movement hosts a special shopping spree for children from local foster care group homes, providing them with new name-brand shoes to start the school year off right. Many of these kids have never owned a new pair of shoes, often wearing worn-out footwear that no longer fits. With the help of our volunteers, each child is paired with a compassionate helper to select the perfect pair of shoes, within a $100 budget. The joy they experience leaving with brand-new shoes is priceless.

  • Christmas Shopping Spree

    YOU CAN MAKE THE HOLIDAYS A LITTLE BRIGHTER FOR A FOSTER CHILD THIS SEASON.

    Just before Christmas, Purpose Movement hosts a joyous shopping spree for hundreds of foster children. Each child is paired with a volunteer to help them navigate a 30-minute shopping experience at Walmart, where they receive a $100 budget to spend on whatever they need or want. This event fosters a sense of value, love, and independence during the holidays, offering these children a special, memorable experience.

  • Prom Night for Teenage Girls

    GIVE FOSTER TEENS A NIGHT THEY’LL NEVER FORGET. JOIN US IN CREATING A MAGICAL PROM EXPERIENCE.

    Many teenage girls in foster care miss out on the traditional school experience, including prom. Purpose Movement addresses this gap by hosting a special "Night to Remember" each year. The celebration includes a shopping event at Macy’s where the girls are assisted in selecting a beautiful dress. Afterward, they’re treated to a prom night complete with hairstylists, a DJ, dinner, and a photo booth. This event allows them to feel special, celebrated, and loved.
